Leafs.org dropped at an odd date. Almost a month early.
The old whois was:

Notice how the create / expiration date was September 13. It went through the regular cycle (marked pending delete and dropped 35 days later), but the issue is that the name was marked as pending delete BEFORE the name was past expiration (i.e on August 16, it was marked for delete even though there was still one month of registration on the name).
I pooled the name LONG ago. At least one other person picked up on this as Pool grabbed the name and it is now in auction.
Just curious, does anybody have other names on their radar in the same situation, or was this a one-time mess-up deal? (Or perhaps the former owner instructed the registry to DELETE the name even though there was time on it as was the case with WWF.com).
