I am going to start an online community which will be based on my own script and not on the avaialble forum scripts. My idea is UNIQUE I have not seen a similar thing on net before.

I have found a 5 letter ".org" which is a "related" domian name and all other TLDs are taken already.

Should I go with that domian name or try to find a different ".com" name with all other tlds available?

What is good from the longterm aspect being a site build on a strong unique revolutionary idea with a potential of attracting masses?

I would appreciate any help.

I agree. For something that you want to brand you NEED a .com. I'll register .org's but only for something purely descriptive like creditcardinformation.org...
