hello

i recently acquired a few .org domains and tried to change the whois info and i changed the info at the control panel but when i do a whois search the old values come up.????
suppopt told me to contact the former owner,

Aslo he said,due to the recent changes to .org system updates changes can not be made at the control panel,

i made the changes
2 days ago,
and i used safenames
and moniker for the other domains.

on moniker you have to create new contact
got that,

but safenames,cant figure it out yet,

If the names are in your account I don't see how the previous owner can help. You should be able to confirm your whois information with the Registrar and it is then their responsibility to register that with the Registry.

I had a problem recently when one of my names was showing totally incorrect whois at the Registry, even though it was okay in my Control Panel. I made a small change to the information and re-saved it and it then got changed correctly at the Registry.

So try making a small change in your control panel - perhaps remove a digit from your 'phone number or something and see if that does it.
