One question I have had throughout is why would "Allen", who appears to be in the domain biz transfer the name Ouch.com to someone he didn't know before making sure the "check" cleared?

I do have one bit of advice to Attillo that has been mentioned before. Let the name revert back to Godaddy.com. It will lessen your legal bills for a name you haven't paid for. Also strange that DomainP would xfer the name to you without payment. Very strange someone would do that. Gee, it's kind of like Deja Vu....

bottomline, Ouch.com is not worth $3K or your troubles or your reputation. I think in the end, you could harm it just by holding it even if it's the "right" thing to do. My thinking is that, what if I sell you a name, and for some reason "things" go south for whatever reason. Holding on a name is not something you want to get a rep for.

Best wishes to you Attilo. You are a honorable person. I just don't think you have to get yourself roped in this mess.

HI, folks, this is Allen Goldberg, the original owner. I have already called the FBI, they won't handle fraud unless the amount is over 150K. I have been at work all day and I have just gotten home. I am sorry If I have not been any more vocal then I had been last night on page 3 or 4 of this thread. I just got an email back from Everett wan, he says that "Someone Broke into his paypal account and made an illegal transfer" yeh right..He is the one that sent me all of the emails and his email address is the one that has been all the same the entire time. so I don't think he is telling the truth. I have no idea where to go from here. yes I was very naive to transfer a domain without waiting for the echeck to clear. I have proven without a doubt that I am the original owner, You can see my name and address here in the forum as the owner, You all posted this information after the backorder from godaddy was complete, at that time I had never even heard of dnforum.com, togoodhealth (John) was kind enough to let me know about dnforum an I am forever grateful. You knew about me before I knew about this forum. What else do I have to do to prove I am really the person who has been frauded out of a great domain name and has been sold and resold and transfered and so on and so on....Where do I go from here. I am sorry if others were scammed along the way but if the original property started out with me, wouldn't it make sense to place it back with the rightful owner, Me. Atillo has been a kind person and I know that he is in the middle of all of this. why would I spend all of this time during the past 24 hours to try to get back something that was stolen from me if i were not the original owner. any help that can be offered would be appreciated, the FBI told me to go to the local police which Is what I will be doing in the morning, thank you for your time, Allen Goldberg
