back when OVT was working, what was your minimum score for you
to reg an available domain ?

I found an expired one that is 837 and was wondering if that's any good...

with extension, any number greater than or equal to 7

without 1200

i still have quite a few domains that had ovt w/ext. when i acquired them

some haven't lost a beat :)

others have slipped, some died and came back to life,

many delivered high $$$$ in the beginning, now down to only a few bucks a month, but still the $$$ keep rolling. ;)

but i printed a few lists from back in the day and every now and then i'll revisit :)

imo....

Its common knowledge even if a domain has a true ovt/w score (past) of even 25-30 it is likely to get little to no traffic, basically anything I look at with 25 or less I tend to pass on unless the price is great.

Therefore basing my purchases on ovt with no extension is noy worth it, for me any way. Youll find many small ovt/w names drop or even available from time to time that when you check whois histroy show these tasters didnt even want it after a year or two.

one also has to remember that when ovt was active, there were quite a few domains with fake numbers

domainers had overused ovt so much that some numbers were hard to believe.....just like Google adword tool now

True, common sense must apply, for example if cars.com has ovt/w of XXXX+ makes sense, common sence, if I lovehotcars.com has ovtW of XXXX you should assume it isnt natural lol
