Funnily enough there are a few scripts knocking about online. As an experienced PHP programmer the script you mentioned is indeed very buggy BUT there is one out there which is free and I'm not mentioning for TOS, which isn't and already has all of the features. It's from the same place you got it from

Although I will say that these scripts are a pain in the butt to configure correctly, and the graphics work is worth the money if you don't know what you're doing. So basically, if you know what you're doing, go ahead and do it already, if not it's well worth the $$ to buy it ready done.

No point in whinging about it, you're either intrested or you're not.
