It is used for an acronym so thats a plus!
"Society for Human Resource Management"
Of course owning the .org would be helpful in this case.
Google Hits: 68,100
Overture Hits: 28,815
High Retail: $200
Low Retail: $150
Wholesale: $45
I gave it a low MR because the acronym is not well known.

Cheers!

Presumably people looking for shrm.org - Society for Human Resource Management?

Normally the Overture and Google figures would merit a lot more than US$200 high retail, but this is a different case. (edit: sorry, I mean something like "interesting" case)

The stray (old) traffic from Society for Human Resource Management must be worth alot. 50k uniques is what? US$250 a month?

Did they just decide to change names and not realise they would lose the traffic, or did the name slip, I wonder.

Any way, nice catch!

mudfence, dont take it personally please, I think that things to make appraisal is very ridiculous, 3 days ago a name I posted was appraised around $ 100 and I sold for $ 8k, now there is a wholesale price of $ 45 on a name that I turned down a $ 10k offer, based on this I can't resist to say that its ridiculous.

Again don't take it personally.

Yeah mud ..cut it out...the cool tool is "interesting" but useless ..you would literally need hundreds if not thousands of variables befiore it could really have any use..and then it still not be reliable.

It's not personal from me either..but you are misleading newbies into thinking this thing has any value.

Look here's a nother major flw.. Mike says the name gets 50K UNIQUES a month ..or 1,600 visitors

Is it specific or general traffic.. wel it llooks like general traffic.. spred over what ....500 pages ?

so your traffic is diluted .. ..

Are you publically showing it's revs..

?

Point is a blanket appraisal is pointless without the proper info..

So Mike are you saying how much trevs a month..and your costs ?

I use searchport too - so I reckon 50,000 uniques a month equates to approx $700 per month, which equals to $8,400 per year. Value must be circa $15K - $20K as long as the traffic holds firm. Nice one Mike.

PS - I might be way over the top with $700 per month. Only Mike really knows.

By the way Mike - why are you pointing the name to the search term "bible"?

Mike

I only post results when I think they are close.
I don't use the tool for all appraisals but it is nice to have all of my research resources all in one spot.

Extension records
Top selling TLD's
US Trademarks Database
UK Trademarks Database
UDRP/ICANN
Trademark FAQ
DNA Whois
Latest drop list

Its a lot easier then fumbling through bookmarks.

You are intitled to your opinions as I am entitled to mine.
I'll refrain from using any tools for future valuations of any domains you post.

I would have taken the 10K.

Don't take it personal.

Good Luck!

Human resources, employment agency type keywords. And yes I was a little over optimistic on the searchport revenue, but if you point it to a more relevant search term I am sure that your revenue will increase. It's a very nice name anyway Mike :D.

Jobs.. thats would be my main keyword..along with the keyword phrase "employment agency" for starters I'd throw a Jobs.com text link, banner links up(affiliate thru Cj.com)

Jobs=1.8 million monthly searches per overture
