I have an intersted buy in one of my Domains

SHUCKERS.com

This domain is related to the restaurant business and there are many restaurants with the Name SHUCKERS.com

There is a restaurant located in Myrtle Beach SC that I think used this name several years ago.

I have recd an inquire through BuyDomains.com for the domain
and the inquiry is from and adv. group Intellistrand

Their website is Intellistrand.com

What should I ask for this domain, would $1000.00 be to much?

I agree - $1000 is not too much (in fact I wouldn't consider selling it for less). I would ask $1500-$2000. As you noted many restaurants use this name and it is especially prevalent in coastal areas (like where I live in Florida). It's one word, easy to remember and has a definite meaning (short for oyster shuckers, making it ideal for seafood).

This company appears to be based around Myrtle Beach, so it is most likely planning seafood restaurant use. Judging form their website (and strong Alexa ranking) it also looks like they could easily afford to pay a decent price for the domain. I think it would be a good value for them as well.

I did not have a good telephone number for her so I could not call her back but I asked for $4750.00 (Hard to believe it's under $5000.00)
