I am intending to sell one of my domains which I had basically sitting on my hosting from 04/03/2008 with a youtube Video searching script/template from JP Schoefel.

It has 255 links seen on Google Webmastertools and organic traffic is 600 to 800 unique visitors permonth with total 2000 to 2800 visits per month.

Please help me appraise my site FindFunnyVideo(dot)com

As a stand alone name the name is worth zero. As far as the traffic goes, I am not so sure what the traffic is worth, but I can't believe it is worth much. There are numerous video sites out there and many/most do not make money.

The name is awkward, anyways.

Thank you for your quick and honest reply WhoDatDog.

I guess its back to build a brand around it and try to see if any CPA will yield me any passive income on it.

Good luck, but I think you are going to have a tough time at it. Sites like Youtube have a tough time monitizing their traffic, so I think you are fighting a losing battle and every hour you spend on this is an hour wasted of your life that you will never get back. One of the common principles to making money is defining what your edge is and then exploiting it. I just don't see how you have a competitive edge or advantage over anyone else in this area. What does your site bring to the table that thousands and thousands of other sites don't have?

Take my advice is forget about this. Concentrate on things where you know a little bit more than the next guy. This is the wrong area to be in.
