I think that, in general, .org domains value is already very low and, in my modest opinion, it is going to further decrease on next future.

Said that, there are, as always, exceptions and this domain, Authorized.org is one of them because the name and the extension complement each other resulting in a meaningful and memorable name.

A directory of authorized organizations looks to be its natural use but other ones might sucessfully match the name.

Coming to numbers is always the more difficult task but I would say that fluctuations on the $300 range could be a possible amount for quick (or reseller) sale, while $1,500/$2,000 range could apply for retail sale.

Good luck,

Very good Attilio, thanks. I have actually seen a trend in companies using .ORG extension due to lack of the availability of .COM and .NET, regardless of whether they are and organization.

timechange ... I've owned authorize.org since 1999 and have never had even a single bite on it. I hold onto it ... just in case someone "just has to have it". I'm not holding my breathe though.

Good luck with your name.

A directory of legally authorized non-profit organizations located at Authorized.org would be most useful to consumers trying to decide which organiztions to make donations to.

There might be a national or world association of non-profit organizations that already have or would build such a directory for its members.

If you contact them, Time, I suggest setting the asking price for Authorized.org at $3,500. Who knows, they may buy it at $3,500 or at least make you a reasonable counteroffer for it.

I don't let others with all similar opinions, effect my very own thoughts. You will find that if one says a domain is worth $10k, then an entire list of people think the same. Anyway with that said, I think your domain is good timechange, however think it is worth only $75-$150.

A fraction of what the others have suggested, but oh well.
Hope it does sell for what was said above though. You never know.

Obviously, the potential is higher than that. But finding the person that would pay the upper limit is the real deal.
