is it possible to export all your PM messages out? ie to a text file/XML so you have them fro safe keeping.

or even just forward them all to an email address

you could copy and paste them into notepad...

not very high-tech or user friendly but a viable option in the event none other makes itself available.

im sure this would be possible to do because all you are doing is downloading a row of the database for a certain user...but gregr would have to request this at VB for a hack to be designed

unclewilco the only cost to gregr would be getting his programmers to edit a few vbulletin files to include the additional code. thats assuming he got the hack from the vbulletin.org forum of course.

there is actually a hack for this available

Greg - its called the "private messages backup hack" - you will find it at vbulletin.org if you want to install this feature

It would also be nice to have the view stats in the member profile threads...but that trivial compared to an export or backup feature.
