I really don't care who it's from, I don't appreciate PM spam from anyone.

Of course today I receive an email from DNForum that says I have a new PM from MediaHound saying he is happy to announce that Bido is open again.

Who cares? Certainly not me.

Members pay hundreds of dollars to join the forums here so "Former DNF Admin's" can spam us?

This user needs to go bye bye along with all their posts for abusing the forum. Their thread is already filling up with users complaining about the spam.

----------------------------------------

Spam Definition
The word "Spam" as applied to Email means Unsolicited Bulk Email ("UBE").

Unsolicited means that the Recipient has not granted verifiable permission for the message to be sent. Bulk means that the message is sent as part of a larger collection of messages, all having substantively identical content.

A message is Spam only if it is both Unsolicited and Bulk.

----------------------------------------

Unsolicited - check
Bulk - check

Spam = yes

Not a great idea this thread.
MediaHound can send me all pm's he want when he want.

I appreciated it.
He's a boss.

You not.

You might want it, but I don't, and neither do lots of users in that thread already.

Do you think spam is a good way to advertise a business? I'll bet more people feel the same way.

DNForum has a newsletter, why couldn't he advertise in that? Or a banner? Or PPC ads? Google? Anything but spam.

I receive everyday on this forum tons of unsolicited spammer/pm's from suckers.

I receive tons of unsolicited sales pm's.

I never call out names or notify to a moderator this fact.

Just simply I delete the trash.

Today MH send me a pm with a great news about Bido and people start crying.

Go to school.

I also got the SPAM from Media Hound.

Result: I will never do business with "Bido" or whatever garbage it was he was spamming about. I didn't pay for an account here so I could get more spam.

Mediahound is not Admin here anymore and I don't believe he did on behalf of DNF.

Cool down guys. We're checking on the matter.

Thanks,

I have already made my feelings felt in another thread. Spam in not appreciated, not even by Adam. I am a fan of Bido, and have already received several emails from them, but the concept that anyone from this Forum can spam me privately is unacceptable.

Responses like "loser" are childish. Those that do not appreciate Spam are hardly Losers!!

As a result of Jarred's PM, I fell out of my chair, rolled down a flight of stairs, and then crashed through a cellar window. If I can find my other shoe, I'll let the unsolicted PM slide, but ONLY this time.

Good luck with Bido. :D

I concur, this Bido spam should never have made it in DNF members' inbox!
There is a credibility issue at stake...
