I find these pretty interesting and I wonder what the angle is here or if it's just to bother people (or just me..lol) but it's not sent to me specifically, just to one of my email addresses...now the whole email is various poetry quotes made in a somewhat threatenting manner...anyone else get these or this specific one? ideas? :uhoh:

From - Gabriela Lim (with a bad email of course)

Email title- Of all base passions, fear is the most accursed.

That's what I figured...except there is no advertisement, link, or anything else in the mail (maybe aol removed it?) I have gotten other random emails before that don't make sense but this one seemed like maybe it was just some attempt to harass people..just wondering if anyone else has gotten these or this one... ??

If it's aol, and the bogus email is from an aol'er also, they may just be seeing if your email is live by checking the read receipt.

Once they have that, your email's being added to a list and sold to the highest bidder.

Just a speculation maybe.

Well, appreciate the responses so far...has anyone else actually gotten this one? (or one like it?) What is the point?

Also, "Spoems" are made up from spam..where as this was spam made up from famous poem lines...a little different...but thanks for the link Beachie! ;)
