It at least has potential as a keyword for SE traffic and possible branding. China developments could be icing on the cake.

thanks in advance

Nice website to provide search result for poker. Poker keywords in netstumble.com ppc results goes as high as $4.17.

Good luck to your domain.

Collectively speaking, the Chinese people are a HUGE target clientele for the gambling industry. Many casinos (off-line) advertise heavily in overseas Chinese language media. HOWEVER, there are 2 unfavorable factors:

1. .CN registry has made it very clear that it does NOT allow gambling contents.
2. Most Chinese people do NOT search with the usual English keywords; in other words, even when they want to look for poker, they would type in some Chinese characters and not the word "poker" per se.

Good luck.

Where did you get this information? I have contact in china, he told me that most students and businesses register .CN or .COM.CN domain names to market their skill set, products and services in english word for cheap labor. It doesn't make any sense to use chinese character to attract english customers.

Just checking with your input.

Cheers,
Em

slave has a point about the Chinese government's view on Internet gambling. They shut things off like a cat on heat.

I agree, but we are talking about tapping into the Chinese market, not the other way round, are we?

And FYI: I happen to be able to read Chinese. ;)

ok , my experience with Chinese traffic they do go for casinos,
they download and play the casino but they don't deposit.

I think this is because of two factors
1. Government Fear

2. They don't have CCs and easy ways to pay for things they want.

if anyone knows of a way to make money of Chinese traffic let me know.

I have been told by a friend in china to get a credit card you need to have plenty of $$$$$ and you need to pay for each purchase almost instantly back to you credit card!
