site is not making money since there are no ads on the site. I run another poker discussion forum so if i dont get a realistic offer ill just advertise my poker sites on this one - my other site has made nearly $1000 from one poker site alone in the last month so im happy to keep it, simply isnt worth me selling it below its worth - but due to me bruising my hand i wont be able to work for at least 4 weeks

ive made $1500 from my casino sites this month and about the same with poker sites - the commissions and future commissions in gambling related sites is fantastic. As i said, the site is worth a few thousand to me personally due to the traffic i can send to my other sites - not to mention the fact i could just start putting ads on the site as well and improve the forum style

Exactly... It would be worth that much once it is improved. It has potential but right now it has nothing. Just a basic vbulletin skin and is making no revenue. Potential site yes, money site now no.

i wouldnt put it in the potential site category - throwing some ads up and changing the basic design doesnt take long - its got thousands of posts and is getting traffic already

rather, they are a copy of the newsgroup:

smooth - im hardly hiding this fact - the forum room which those posts are in is called rec.gambling.poker. The site is established on the web and is getting consistent traffic

ill say this again, if your not interested in the site, please leave your comments out of the thread

Actually you are hiding the fact. You say that the site you are selling has over 300k posts, which isn't the case

I wouldn't call it "hiding" it. Its pretty obvious since the forum title is the same as the newsgroup name, and the fact that there are 100 users and 300K posts would lead you to believe that something else had been done. I think anyone in the market for a site like this will understand what they are getting. "Hiding" it would have been if he trumped up 10K fake users and changed the forum name to something that didn't indicate what it was.

As he said, this is a sales thread, so we should let people who are really interested in spending the kind of money he's asking to rule here...

i repeat i am not hiding this fact - how can i. Its there in black and white on the site - anyone who doesnt look at a site theyre buying is an idiot. Im not trying to rip anyone off - ive sold hundreds of sites here and have had no complaints.
