I am building a poker site and was told my name might not be the best, so I'm looking for feedback on a few others I've registered and see which you all think is best. (if any)

Current:
TexasFelt.com

I also own:
WhatsYourPlay.com - I think the name alone encourages interaction among members.
BadBeatBoard.com & BadBeatsBoard.com - I was told this might just get whiners.
TiltedChat.com
TiltChat.com

i would run with none of them tbh

tip, use generic words but make brandable

the best would have forum, chat etc for what you want, but if you plan to use a .com which is best, they will all be gone

Someone else has mentioned that I should have poker in the name, but I must say, the first three forums I usually hear people speak of for poker don't have poker in their names. (cardschat, twoplustwo, railbirds)

TBH, if I could get a freeroll going on some of the major sites, word will spread pretty quickly. Granted, I'll get freeloaders, but usually good members will begin to come along as well.

I would also think if I could use poker slang in the name somehow, the (true) poker players will recognize it as well. IE - tagpoker (taken, just example). This would probably attract more members with "knowledge".

If you're looking for type-in value (people blindly typing the domain into the browser) then you'll get a minimal valuation. Most people think poker and would type in a poker related domain.

As for the ones you mentioned - they've probabaly spent a lot of money on SEO (Search Engine Optomization) and advertising bringing traffic to those sites. With a big enough wallet you could easily make QZZYXXV.info a high traffic site.

Just look at Vehix - IMO a horrible domain but they've spent a lot of money on advertising and it's one of the top used car sales sites out there.

As far as type-in traffic, I would think unless I have pokerforum.com (taken) I'll have to try my best for SEO anyway. That's probably the main keyword related to the topic I'm focusing on (right?). I guess I could try for those searching for "winning poker" or "poker hands", but that's pretty far reaching. Which is why I'm really looking for something quick to say and easy to remember.

What if I could find a decent title who's acronym spelled somthing poker?

All u
can
Eat

Then my logo would be AlluCanEat.com (taken)

BTW, poker players should know this means I'm all-in.
