Poll: typing a domain name in browser

How many times do you type a domain name directly in the address field of your browser (and not use a search engine)?

 

Probably about half the time, sites I'm familiar with I usually type directly into the browser rather than bookmark.

I type domain names into the browser very often. If most folks did the same.....we wouldn't need search engines. That's my 2 cents worth.

 

my most regular sites are bookmarked, but i use the address bar for everything else and will usually guess rather than try a search engine as the se's are so full of irrelevant pages that have been seo'd for popular phrases.

I hardly ever do, also. I type in sites in the address bar that I visit all the time, but I very rarely just type whatimlookingfor.com if I've never been there before.
