Had over 50 names listed for today's BIG drop! Had quite a few good ones. But Pool caught only one of the decent ones: visualbasic.com (already at $4,300!) And they only caught ten others that went for a couple hundred bucks apiece at NW! Pool starting to SUCK bigtime!

did you mean that in a 'no chance' sort of way or a 'no way is it available!' sort of way?

could you believe that it has never even been developed upon? according to archive.org anyway. then again its possibly trademark infringing.

I mean in a "you'll see Microsoft's legal team all over you" sort of way.

i have a test for that- if other sites with different extensions are still online, then there is no problem(as long as the content is similiar).

visualbasic.net - yes
visualbasic.org - no
biz - no
info - no
...

err... you are right, :) we must be mad.

lol hotdog.

just becuase others haven't been challenged doesn't mean this domain won't.

VisualBasic.com is a very big TM infringment.

if microsoft were really bothered they would take action.

and it looks like they have so i agree that it is a TM infringement and realise that it was a crazy idea in the firstplace.

lets just hope the person paying $5K has the guts to face upto it.

LOL. Hope it doesn't become very expensive when it goes, if it goes, to auction.

The domain game is a very strange thing, what is good to some people is an absolute "I won't be caught dead with the name!" to others.

I contacted the owner of Outlook.com and he said mircosoft had no problem with him owning or selling the name and had a written agreement to do so..

But visualbasic.. its more a brand they made.

Outlook is a word..

just some interesting info..
