Sorry, I think I posted my last message in the wrong forum!

Basically, I was thinking of using Pool.com to grab an expiring name, but according to their policy I might have to face an auction against other people who wanted the name registered as well....

so heres the real question, whats to stop them faking these other people or inviting people to participate just to drive the price higher on a good name?

FoxStatton,

Pool is inviting everyone to bid. More bidders, more money for them.

But, I am sure they are not making false bidders.

If you want the name. Cover all your bases.

Pool, snap, FirstName, etc.

And, that still does not guarantee that you will get it.
But, you have do something.
