the web site has been up for about 5 month's now and the design/layout is totally custom.. currently receiving around 100 visitors/day, traffic is increasing slowly but surely... about 90% of the visitors are from the USA and huge music fans!

i would estimate the traffic to be split about 60/40 between search engines and type-ins... click here to view last month's webalizer stats.

search term "papa roach" shows 285,350 results over at overture... the rock group is really famous and is mainstream! they currently have two singles on the billboard 100 mainstream rock tracks, spots #4 and #10.

....just kidding, hmmm.. the pics on the main page are just about 20k each and the web site loaded up pretty quick for me.... the server was probably lagging, what can i say.. it happends'

The site took 15 seconds to load on my low speed dsl connection. Its your isp or his server thats the problem. His website content fine.

alright - take it easy your highness... i tried it 3 times - when the content is cached in my harddrive it does load fast

i wasnt questioning the content though. my only point was if you have a 600kb homepage - it will take a person on AOL or netzero over 5 minutes of waiting before they can see the full homepage. and all i said was - it might be helpful to move some of the images in a gallery section or even divide them in multiple pages or use smaller thumbnails... and if you understand how important each visitor is, then you might consider those poor guys on AOL or netzero.

but if i clear my cache - there is no way i can download it in less than 20 seconds on Comcast premium highspeed - 6mbps
