Some times the deal goes sour and you want to avoid this person in the future deals but after sometime you forget his nick or he changes his nick and again scams you.
So i thought may be the admins can introduce some "note" system that we can write against this person which is viewable only by the "note" writer.( preferably in the area where is Nick name, avatar and post count stands) In this case we can avoid being scammed in the future.

i agree.
If that isnt do-able then not being able to change your handle is one i can live with.

burp!

Thank you for the suggestion.

any update on this?

The suggestion has been added to the suggestion list.

I have researched it and at first glance this is not an easy thing to do, would require extensive custom programming, and it may negatively impact page load times.

The suggestion will continue to be reviewed and if anything happens to make it more do-able, we'll consider it.

For now, please try and keep a spreadsheet like John suggested.

I keep track of user IDs so that even if the username changes I still see the match.

Thanks for the link, much appreciated.
