I registered and developed the website http://www.BalkanSyndrome.com exactly 4 years ago. Back then, right after the US bombing of Yugoslavia, the controversy surrounding the use of depleted uranium in the bombs coined the exact same phrase "Balkan Syndrome", to describe certain types of illnesses affecting soldiers & civilians of the region.

The content is basic: homepage, info page about depleted uranium and a page with collection of links to articles, some of which are out of date.

The domain is listed under 2 Yahoo directories:

Health > Diseases and conditions

It's #1 under both lists.
There is a button that links to the full history of referrers, hits etc. at the bottom of the main page.

The content was a quick slap-on that I did when the scandal broke out. It's easy to search google for such content and create an updated content. Because of the backlinks from various publications and health organizations, the PR is solid. The PR is 6 for the index page and 5 for the inner pages.

That's from July 2004 until today - I moved servers at that time.
Needs a browser capable of viewing PNG files.

Don't navigate from the menu on the left as those files were saved from a password protected area. Just scroll down the lists.

Edit: it seems that only Internet Explorer can see those files. Apologies to those that would like to use FireFox, it won't work.
