For Sale Prior registrants of a domain name

Long ago there was a site I used to visit on occasion to find out who had owned a particular domain name in the past. I'm not talking about regular WhoIs lookups but instead a listing of one or more (if applicable) prior registrants of a domian name. What was that site, or are there others now? Thanks. Susan

alexa.com and archive.org sometimes give limited information about a previous registrant, but not full whois information.
