private info with registrar

Are you allowed to designate somewhere that you don't what your name and address out for public viewing when you buy a domain name.

If yes, are allowed to do this with enom?

I was with a registrar who didn't give out the info and when I went to several whois services it wasn/t there. But today I found it on another website.
