Hi every1

I need good advice about the .LTD.UK extention

I register all my names at UKreg and they have a Quick Domain Name Search thingy on their site, almost everytime I enter a name the only suffixes remaining are .LTD.UK .PLC.UK and usually .TV too. The cost to register a LIMITED COMPANY is around £80 and the domain just £7.
Can anyone tell me if its Worth spending that amount of money just to get the "**KEYWORD**.ltd.uk extention?
Are .LTD.UK's worth serious money? or pointless without the .COM's & .NET's to match up with?
PLEASE reply, I really need proper advice here, cos it'll be very expensive if i get it all wrong.
Cheers

The following link gives the guidelines on this extension:

www.nic.uk/rules/rup1.html

Don't forget that not only do you have to pay to set up a company, but you also have to post company accounts every year with companies house which could turn out to be an expensive exercise. It is also a pain.

The extension would be useful to established companies who are not currently online and want to give their present customers another form of access to the company.

Personally I would steer clear. It is far too much aggravation.

yeah enough red tape to go around the cosmos:laugh:
BUT, i am aiming rather high in my overall ambition in this business so i'm expecting tons of paper work and legal sh*t.
Well i just hope what i've done so far is okay, i'll disclose it to you next week what it is i'm working on.
THANK anyway
