Normally I disregard crap from them but a couple weeks ago I saw a advertisment that they were going to pick a winner for a drawing coming up, a million a week for life or something like that. I thought you cant win if you dont play.

2 Fu*#@ ing weeks later and I still have not fullfilled requirement for entry into the FU*#@ ing drawing!

I get spammed not hourly but by the minute from them and I cant figure out what they want from me or what or where I order anything.

I just got a email saying "Your inactivity is FORFEITING prize chances!" are you FU*@ ing kidding me !!!

I thought you cant win if you dont play.

The flaw in that reasoning is that quite often you can't win if you do play either.
But you can lose time and focus,
Thats why lottery tickets bug me. It's not the money, but the piece of your mind they steal.

Three things...

1. Publisher's clearing house is just about near a scam - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Publishers_Clearing_House#Odds_of_winning

Their September, 2011 draw had odds of 1 in 1.75 billion to win. You've better luck at a broken slot machine.

2. Contributing to the existence of PCH could very well be the reason why postal workers "go postal", as an outburst of Newman in Seinfeld might suggest - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZgQGbD47aZA (skip to 0:28 or thereabouts).

3. If they at all give you any indication that you have won something (not "eligible to win" or "may win"), even just a hint of it, taking them up on it might be a good idea as the supreme court had ruled in February - http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news...ho-thought-he-won-sweepstakes/article2353123/.
