Interest in State / City .US domains is really hotting up, recent sales include :

SanFrancisco.us - $6,000 - Buyer Andrew from DomainNameWire.com
Nashville.us - $23,000 - Buyer Rick Schwartz

Both sold within the past few weeks.

So I thought I would bring out my two for offers :

PuertoRico.us : BIN $8,000
VirginIslands.us : BIN $7,000

Both were picked up during the December 2004 release of the Reserved .US domains. (http://www.dot.us/reserved.txt)

Offers in this thread of via PM please.

Ditto cos I'm gonna be out a while

Either both or individually. It doesn't matter to me. I don't own any .us.

I am from Puerto Rico and I would like to buy the name to develop it. However, I am reluctant to pay too much for the name, as there is a real chance that Puerto Rico breaks apart from the US in the coming years.

As we speak, there are motions in Congress to resolve the status of Puerto Rico. If the resolution comes down to independence, then I would be stuck with a worthless domain.

Sanfrancisco.us for $6,000 has a much stronger chance of always belonging to the US! Not to mention their more tech savvy population ;)

I bid $1,500 for PR
