Question about "verification"

Why are some domains available for sale instantly while others get stuck in the verification process for days?

Is it just luck of the draw or some odd algorithm?

Hi Dragger,

Domains are usually cleared through automatically into your account if the WHOIS information displayed is public or if you've changed your name servers to NS1.SEDOPARKING.COM and NS2.SEDOPARKING.COM. If there are still domains verifying in your account, please PM your username and I'll look into this for you.

I have another stuck domain it's been there for several days. I've added over 20 others and they all verified within minutes (and all are with the same account with the same registrar (same WhoIs info, too). :undecided:

Not so odd. I see domains that I dropped back in 2003 get registered every day.
