A new acquisition for me. Quetta is a major city in Pakistan with approximately 700-800,000 residents in the city itself, and roughly 2 million in the metropolitan area.

"Quetta is a major tourist attraction for tourists from abroad. It is advertised as a thrilling location, full of adventure and enjoyment. "

"Many Internet Service Providers and almost all major mobile phone companies are operating in Quetta."

"People of Quetta are huge football fans. This city has produced more renowned footballers then any other part of Pakistan."

"Quetta is also famous for the prestigious military staff college, which was founded by the British. It has recently celebrated its hundredth anniversary."

"Quetta has a population of more than 2 million. The city is dominated by a Pashtun majority and a Balochi minority with an eclectic smattering of smaller groups."

Appraisals please

Additional info:

"Quetta is one of the most important military stations of the country, occupying a vital and strategic position on account of the fact that the boundaries of Iran and Afghanistan meet here, and the Bolan Pass lies on important lines of communications."
