I know I shouldn't comment in a sales thread, but I am drooling beyond belief.

This is an absolutely fabulous name and for anyone who enjoys cars and car websites as much as I do, this is as good as it gets.

If the owner is interested in having the name developed...I would be more than willing to help.

Good luck with the sale/brokerage of this sensational domain!

Yes, that would be an offer not significantly lower than $350,000. :)
Notice that Sedo doesn't have a Buy it Now feature.

;)

Given that F1.com and formula1.com were bought for $1M, you should contact Bernie Ecclestone's people. They'd pay that kind of bread in an instant.

The buyer was not able to follow through with their bid.
Currently, the seller is looking for someone who has some plans for the domain in terms of development. There has been some interested from domain parking companies -- but offers based strictly on current traffic stats are not what the seller is looking for. Just passing along the information.

Obviously, someone with a business plan such as fantasy racing or a racing game could squeeze much of the current asking price back out of Racing.com just on the branding value of the domain alone.

We have develped an online betting exchange to do with online gaming aswell as your normal betting, i would be very interested in buying the domain name if i was available on a buy to lease option, i would also give the seller a sabstantial proffit margin of all proffits made during the buy to lease agreement, if on a buy to lease agreement i would be willing to buy it for $500,000 , if you are interested then please pm me.
Kind regards
Matthew

Thanks for the interest.

I believe that many people would enjoy buying this domain on contract with little or no cash outlay. The seller has made it clear to me in previous discussion that a lump sum offer will have a much better chance at claiming this domain, rather than a contract proposal.

The reason being that he has already received many offers of development for the domain in exchange for a share in revenue of said development. The owner's real goal though is to sell the domain, and not share in a development or contract.

However, if you send me more details on your offer I will be happy to work with the seller to see if a mutual agreement can be reached.

Onepaymenthosting's offer is being considered. I am awaiting the arrival of a written/.pdf offer contract, which I will then make available to the owner of Racing.com for review.

Does this mean that the seller will consider offers in the $250k-$350k range for a one-time payment?

LMK, thanks.

Are you asking on behalf of your own interest? :)

Yes, I believe a solid offer in that range would have the full attention of the seller at this point.

There are a few tentative offers starting to come in. The first serious (in writing) offer at a reasonable level (not too severely undercutting the asking price) will most likely convince the seller.
PM me if more details are required.

Thanks.
