I don't think you can register a .eu domain if you are not a resident of a European Nation.

Open up a company in an EU country. Do it online.

But if I have a Swedish social security number?
I have two social security numbers, one in sweden and one in Iceland?
I know it sounds stupid but could it be done?

Social security number is not even needed, only a valid EU address. That's all.
You can setup a proxy company in the UK, and go from there. I don´t know the URL, but I´m sure someone here knows it. Or make some European friends really fast.

Best of luck.
