I think maybe you can call them and gripe about the price if you want to save a few dollars, or you could always take the BARGAIN 100 years reg for just 9.99/yr and it's just 1,000.00 to renew! ;)

lol
i rang them a while back & i have to say, i'm not sure whether it was female or male that answered the phone.
it was closer to mineral or vegetable, going on the language skills.
in short it was a freak
i was in shock at their lack of brains tbh, it was scarey. i'm not sure what the ceo is doing answering the phone anyway! lol
i covered the renewal rate thing but 'it' wasn't responding
i think i've answered my question....
a transfer to Moniker it is ;)

hello! network solutions....how may i help siiirrrr! ;)

Call them and tell them you will transfer it to godaddy and they will give you a rate around $10. No hassle. They are always willing to do that.

cheers. i did that & pointed out i would transfer to Moniker. i also pointed out i had 1000 domains approx with other registrars etc. it fell on deaf ears.
i live in UK so it's not worth paying the phone call again. it's their loss.
i'll transfer in to Moniker for $6.95
cheers
