I just wanted to add this MAP OF PORTUGAL for bidders' reference.

Also, a reminder that someone will own Portugal's official name (possibly for only $xxx - three figures - in only 18 days.)

Price reduced from 750 to 650. I'm sure the final bid will be well over 750, but I just wanted to get more people involved from the very start of this auction, which ends in only 12 days.

Please note the price reduction of 13.3%.

This brings the price down to $650. That's less than I paid for Congo-Kinshasa.com, which isn't even an official name. Plus, Portugal's economy is several dozen times larger than Congo-Kinshasa's economy.

So this auction truly represents a distress sale. I would buy this name myself if I weren't a student and low on cash.

Consider placing your bids before the last minute (and not lurking until it is too late). Sometimes there is a problem with the connection -- and other times the Web site is temporarily down (especially since this site is so popular and traffic is often too heavy.)
