This is the first domain I've purchased which utilizes a state abbreviation, but there seems to be alot of other state XXMovers.com sites developed. Some seem to be just independent sites, some owned by specific moving companies, and some owned by actual state movers associations.

This is definitely something I will market to end-users, but I want to get an idea if anyone else thinks this is a nice domain and it's possible worth.

Thanks.

I own a lot of these type of names, I think its a good investment, although RI is a rather small state, its still nice and at some point I am sure someone might come around asking for it, you cant ask for a lot for these type of names due to the limited use and geographic location (maybe mid to high $$$), but its still a nice gain from a $6 reg

When I look at it, the first thing I see is "RIM OVERS". Then I think to myself, "Self, what is a Rim Over?"

I sold few similar domains.
Sold them $350 - $650 and seems like prices were very reasonable as all of them paid instantly.
If you find REALLY eager buyer, it may even go as high as low $x,xxx

true, I sold a couple of those as well, and I am always looking for those types of domains on the drop, although I prefer full city and state names, and I agree $500 is usually what someone would pay, sometimes I was able to get a little more pointing out that its a full tax writeoff, but getting 1k or more is tricky as there are always some alternatives out there, hyphens, full state names, etc, so usually I settle for mid to high $$$..those are not the type of domains you will get rich off, but usually they get a little traffic and most of mine pay the regfee over the year, so they are worth keeping

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the domain has gotten a few clicks around $.70 each, so it'll definitely pay for itself, though there isn't a ton of traffic. I was hoping to get around mid to high $xxx for it, so I guess I judged it about right. I've wanted to actually contact some end-users via postal mail, just been a bit tied up with other things.

Thanks again!
