what could be the value of the domain routenplaner.com. The keyword "Routenplaner" is the #1 searched word in german language.

The domain generates approx. 10,000 - 14,000 uniques/month.
Currently the domain is rented/leased at www.adomino.com and I´ll get between 1,500 EUR - 2,000 EUR/month (2,200 USD - 3,000 USD) for renting/leasing that domain.

2-3 years ago I´ve asked the owner of routenplaner.de for the asking-price. He told me 1 Mio EUR (approx. 1,5 Mio USD). Now the domain is not longer for sale because it´s part of the ABACHO website.

Right, so your routenplaner.com is the best available domain for any service wanting to compete with ABACHO. This domain could even beat the record ccTLD sale of poker.de.

In most cases german keywords with .de CCTLD makes more sense. Some keywords in some cases seems to be better with .com like wetter.com or routenplaner.com.

If you looking for the weather in USA, Australia you probably type in wetter.com and not wetter.de because you expect on wetter.de only the local weatherforecast. Same on routenplaner.de - if you need a route within Germany than routenplaner.de is fine, but they only offer the the Routeplanner for Germany and not international. So if you travel to France, Austria, Italy etc. it might be better if you type in routenplaner.com because .com seems to be more international.
