RTC.com $11000 with 1 hour left

No this is not my name...but RTC.com does have a $11000 bid with one hour left in the auction. I'm not sure if this auction is legit...but a very impressive sale if it is.

Greg...this is ebay. I would think RTC.com would go for 5-10k to an end user. Mabey the high bidder is indeed an end user...you just never know. Still, a 11k sale for a 3 letter .com on EBAY is outstanding!

A few end users have used Ebay.

It looks fishy to me... look how many bidders have 0 comments... and some of those who do have comments haven't had any recent ebay activity... and the fact that the first bid was placed only 2 hours after the auction was listed....

I had bid $3,050 on that auction (78vette_81z28(629) <- that's me) but I too noticed 2 bidders who just joined so I backed out. The winner was a guy from www.rtcind.com. I spoke to him on the phone and he also felt it was "weird". He also told me his top bid...which was much more than $14,600!!!
