Saharanpur.info, please appraise.

A city of north-central India north-northeast of Delhi. It was once a summer resort for the Mogul court. Population: 479,000.

Saharanpur is now a district administrative center. A major road and rail junction, the city is an important agricultural market. Wood products are manufactured; there are railway workshops and cotton and sugar mills.

Saharanpur is a town in Northern India famous for its woodworking industry. It lies in a very fertile agricultural belt, plentiful in grains and fruits. Even though the Basmati rice is famous for Dehradoon, a lot of it is grown in the Saharanpur area. Saharanpur is also rich in industrial wealth: textile, sugar, paper and cigarette factories operate there.
