I recently visited a website which claims that they have sold more than 500 names from Jan 2002 till now and average price was
more than $8000 per name.

This means $4 Million . When I asked for details of atleast few names sold they refused.

They have listed "members" who want to buy your names for huge amounts. You just have to get membership by paying
$59 for one month o $99 for 3 months.

I think the only persons who get rich are these guys !!!
Does anyone else have a similar experience?

What was the site Urltrader?

There are some sites out there shifting relatively large volumes of domain names.

The last email sent by them to me is self explanatory :--

Please don't disturb me again. You are not our customer and I'm too busy to answer your e-mails every day.

There is another site (I think from the same people) which is
AllForDomains.com . They ask you to pay $295 so that they can send your list of domain names to 9000 potential buyers.

They even send you 9000 email addresses as proof , but only after removing the server part . So what you get is
abc@ .com instead of [email protected] !!!

If any such similar things come to anyone,s notice please share with everyone who is into domain names.

Thanks.
