Last time I had schemes.org up for auction at Sedo, my (way too optimistic) reserve was not met, ending in no sale. I have now tried to be much more fair, and therefore, after I received an $800 offer, I sent it to a 7-day auction.

Every appraisal I have received on this forum has been priced $x,xxx and up , nothing less. Therefore I hope you think that a "reserve met" at $800 is very fair.

This domain is also listed on Sedo's "Top Domains" section, on request by Sedo brokers!

The word "Schemes" returns around 74.5 million google results and the word itself is defined by Wikipedia here:

Schemes can also be drawings/maps of industrial areas, pipelines, building instructions etc. I'm pretty sure you all know what a scheme is.

The name also receives fair type-in traffic (around 102uv the last 25 days).

If you look up the name on a registrar you will see that all major TLD's were registered a long time ago, this includes:

Schemes.info
Schemes.net
Schemes.org
Schemes.biz
Schemes.us
Schemes.mobi
Schemes.co.uk

My personal opinion is that, besides from the .COM, the .org is the most fitted extension to this name.

All in all, it's a rare name, very generic and for those domainers out there who chase down end-users, this is a name with a huge potential to find an end-user for.

Ok, this auction is now ending in only a couple of hours. I still can`t believe that the highest bid is still only $800, based on the appraisals I`ve received for this domain.
