I understand that its a .co.in, but then what is its value in a country with a billion people where .co.in extension is fairly common?

Thanks biggedon for the appraisal. In fact I am planning to develop it on the lines of search.com (http://www.search.com/dir and http://www.search.com/). So will definitely incorporate your idea of submission site also.

Now I have to decide whether to add a meta search engine here or a proper search engine.
