Yes, it does look like searches for "search engine ranking" are more than 50 times more frequent than those for "search ranking". Does anyone know how to measure how much the middle word gets in the way? It's clear that a name like searchengineranking.com will get higher rankings on this particular search, but does that not also help searchranking.com a lot?
