Hey all,

Just checking out security and wondering if you could help me out. I want to pay for a domain name and the link is REMOVED BY ME - I click on it and obviously it is https, but no lock appears in the status bar at the bottom of my browser. I have tried it on 2 different computers both with IE 6.0 or later and no lock!

Does it work for you? Is this secure?

Thanks

Matt

Its secure its just one of the images isnt secure.

Yes this is very common.

Infact the page doesnt really need to be HTTPS

The form used needs to be secure.

As for the images.

PLEASE, when making a page https:// make sure all images are hosted in the secure directory as well :)

Or else your visitors (like tigga) may question your pages "secureness"

Yeah... I see this a lot. Just right click & go to properties & it will say if the page is encrypted or not. :-D
