Hello,

Sedo has improved its traffic reporting today by adjusting the way we count spam views caused by various user agents (e.g. bots). Previously, the views in clients' statistics included all these agent visits. However, as such traffic does not provide clicks on advertisements, the CTR and RPM of clients' accounts were affected.

By improving the reporting of bot and other user agent traffic, Sedo clients will benefit from improved CTR and RPM values as "spam" traffic is filtered out. This may result in fewer views for some of your domains but the statistics will likely show improved conversion and RPM values.

More information about bots and other user agents may be found via the link below:
http://www.sedo.com/faq/index.php?action=artikel&cat=26&id=419&highlight=User+Agents&language=e.

Thanks!

Monica

Cool and just in time too, I just started to move my domains back to Sedo. :)

I've made more in 24 hours than I did with Afternic in 3 months. :D

The bottom line is all I'm concerned about.

And all this time I thought you guys were just inflating the traffic statistics to inflate sales. Good work.
