Congratulations SEDO, this time you have gone too far! It is bad enough disenfranchising your European clients without advertising the fact on our local version of your site!

You already said that in another thread on the sedo section.

Yes, it would appear that I have been dupped. This is an outrage!

The offer was posted on .co.uk so I assumed it applied to UK citizens. I also object not only to geo-favourtism but to the use of the dot com website for country specific promotions. The US already behaves as though it own the internet.

I have email SEDO regarding this problem. Told them I am clearing out all my domains and I admit I used the F word more than once!

I thought SEDO was finally getting its act together but this time they have gone too far.

What do you mean by "the US"?

Companies?
Individuals?
Government?

Mainly government and to some extent companies. Couldn't really comment on the attitudes of individuals, but much of the comment in chat rooms is very US oriented.

One clear example is that Verisign clearly charges more for dot com registrations to UK registrars than it does US based registrars. If that is not an abuse of privelege I don't know what is?
