I would really appreciate your opinion as to the value of my above four domains as well as your predictions on the .eus.

I think all/most of these have a ton of intrinsic value for most business' in the EU... and good value for US/Asian companies that are searching for euro exports (for one of them).

Hard to say with EU right now (though Advertising got bids as high as $160K and Advertises.eu just sold for $400 both on ebay)... so off the bat, I'd say Mid to high $XXX at the moment for each.

Best of luck.

i like foreigntrade.eu and foreigninvestments.eu these can go in four figure. for other two you have to find the right customer to get good price .

Thanks guys for taking the time - anyone else got comments on my .eus or the whole industry - do you all think pool will establish the value of .eus?

Today 08:11 PM
Falian europeanexports.eu
economicrelations.eu
foreigntrade.eu
foreigninvestments.eu

I think they all have great potential if you wait a bit and allow the market to kick off.
Right now they would be high xx's low xxx. Keep waiting and you might get 4 figures.

thanks guys for taking the time... most seem very reluctant to appraise the .eus.... I know it is highly speculative at this point - however someone is going to have to set the value - will that someone be sites like POOL?

Hi,

You have these four domain names in your PM:

europeanexports.eu
economicrelations.eu
foreigntrade.eu
foreigninvestments.eu

1,2 and 4 are quite long and, unfortunately, I can't see them as having a huge value. 3 is shorter and better. However, they are all highly relevant to the EU and I can imagine business people in Korea, China and around the world possibly entering these domains into their address bar if they wish to trade with the EU.

It would be interesting to see how much traffic they draw. I don't think it will be a huge amount, but the people who do visit the websites will be affluent people generally.

I wish you all the best of luck with them.

I really like foreigninvestments.eu, even if it is quite a long domain. At the moment, I think they worth as follows:
europeanexports.eu -> $xx to low $xxx
economicrelations.eu -> $xx
foreigntrade.eu -> mid $xxx
foreigninvestments.eu -> high $xxx - low $x,xxx
They are related to the .eu extension so they should be winners ;-)

My 2 cents. Not bad, but just ok. They appear better than most of the other crap people are regging in the .eu hype. That hype is both good and bad in that it might help boost initial prices past true fundamental values, but also might deflate quickly when the market wakes up. On a guess, I'd sell asap if I owned them, as I don't believe the current hype. Then again, there are rumors these can't be transferred yet and may be prohibited from sale. That would certainly put a damper on the values. Can we get an answer for Eurid or Eurodns or some other registrars?

lets wait and see..

I'm quiet positive of .eu!
as being from one of the eu countries myself, i think, all eu countries has some kind of very positive thoughts as being part of the eu, they want eu to grow and be the best! (the nb 1, beat US!) its cool to travel/do anything all over EU just with your id card!

therefor own .eu- its privilege!
eu-rulez, i believe!
cheers

i don't think EU antitrust rules will be applied here to hold .eu domains related to trade and investments..nevertheless the rumour might be true as protectiveness in the EU is very much prevalent..

Thanks guyz for all the feed back I just got a pm from someone (I will block out their name)

Hi blue - My best guess is that your domain could bring mid 4-figures within 1-3 years. And quite possibly 5 figures when .eu gains greater public recognition and use. I happen to have --------.biz and my expectation for some future sale is $5000. Would venture to say the .EU is, at least, if not more valuable than the .biz.

Looks like it's hard to get very many straightforward answers about the value. Since the value of .eu is anyones guess, Maybe it would be easier if people valued them as if they were dot com extensions. You could then knock off a percentage of that value based on how you feel about .eu. I would be curious to know what the value of these would be as dot com extensions. I think they are very nice names overall but not a fan of the extension yet.

(I hope no one points out that I'm just jealous because I can't buy them. I don't own .us extensions either and I can certainly buy those.)

Although I believe in .eu potential I dont think we can appraise this ext as .coms, etc. giving any reliable figures. Much too early.
Concerning the domains submitted these 2 "foreign..." expressions look decent as business keywords (not so popular for european ccTLDs but anyway on semi-global .eu scale can be worth sth). Personally, I'd keep them waiting until .eu market is created.

The first two domains looks more like, lets say, academic descriptive expressions. I dont like them much as domain names (they're also quite weak in OVT).
Still some really good OVT and Google keyword combinations are available for reg.
Greetings, hookah

Hi, I hope I understood this question correct.
1. there are pressreleases out from EurID where they officially say that trades on .eu are allowed.
2. we got finally this week from EurID all data for the API to make the ownerchange, because we stick for the moment already in .mobi implementation give us please 2 weeks to implement this, it should be latest on 18th May.

I have sold a .eu on eBay just to find out that it can't be transferred. The error message I got after attempting to push the name was:
"No updates were made
Reason: Items with these TLDs do not support changes to the registrant's First Name, Last Name, or Organization. Please use the domain registrant's existing First Name, Last Name and Organization." (GoDaddy)

I was lucky enough though, because the buyer trusts me that I will push it as soon as EURid accepts ownership changes.
