Hi,

I have $270-ish available funds on my snapnames account from before they switched over to the auction process format. I was wondering if it would be legal for me to sell my account or somehow transfer the credits to someone else? I would like to have the money now and am unable to because all of the domains I have been bidding on end up going for large dollar amounts.

Any suggestions? Thanks. Does anyone know if snapnames can credit me my available funds to my credit card?

Unfortunately they won't. That's why the "credit" process was initiated to begin with when SnapNames changed from first come first serve to auction bid model.
IMO they should have grandfathered all existing customer snapbacks at the 69 dollar fee when they made the change over....but that would have been considered ethical.

I sent them a pretty long email on the day they switched about how I felt about the sudden change. I would have liked some warning. If I would have known I wouldn't have put that much money in.

I think they will not let you sell the account or send your money back to your credit card.

Ask them again now, and they will consolidate them for you. They have consolidated my accounts about more than a month ago...if they refused again, PM me and I will give you the email address of Roger, and he will take care of this.

They consolidated my accounts too, but they only consolidated my backorders. Not my funds.

That and 50 bucks will get you a half decent name there. :)
