I just watched the auction finish at SEDO for the domain Amateur-Girls.com and the selling price I found to be pretty low for this adult name (even with hyphen).

210 EUR
291 USD
145 GBP

I felt this name should have gone for at least $1500-$2500+ and even was tempted to bid on it myself. Anybody else think that is the case? Are adult domain buyers not at Sedo?

A beautiful name. 6 bidders and it ended at less than $300? Why didn't you bid?

Um.. it has a dash?! I'm no expert in adult names, but I don't think it's worth more than what it sold for ;)

I disagree with you on this one Michael... I have many names with dashes that get quite some traffic. $2k for this name is not much at all, considering what the non-dash version would be worth.

While internet users in the US dislike dashes, there are other parts of the world where dashes are commonly used, Germany for example.

The non dash version would be worth quite a bit mostly because of type in traffic and brandability. But I don't think the hyphenated domain would get any traffic :)

dashes as petros said are very common in European users.
In our mind the slash means a space between words.
