short.biz or longerdomainname.com? Which is better please?

We sold our .com last year... we got larger and larger offers until we couldn't resist the amount the buyer was willing to pay. Since then we've been using the domain name azam.biz, but I'm in too minds about how professional a TLD it is (we are an internet marketing consultancy). What's the current view of the .biz ending?

We are shortly launching a brand new website and I was wondering if people think it'd be better to use azam.biz or azammarketing.com?

Lose the biz, is my opinion.
Keep for a blog or something as nice to have your name, but com is best

You will loose business to the .com. Azammarketing.com isn't good with the two m s and you'll have to spell to people on the phone.

If I had to choose I would say azam.biz

.biz may one day be a force, but today it is confusing and will send most customers to the .com.

I would not be too worried about the double 'm' in Azammarketing.com ...just reg the single 'm' version Azamarketing.com as well.

I would do both, point the .biz to the .com but the .com is a must. You can use the .biz for email or for situations which require shorter text. Just an idea.

I agree with everyone else: go with the ".com" for sure.
I would, however, reconsider the AzamMarketing name and looked into other options:
AzamInc.com
AzamDomains.com
AzamPremiums.com
or, since you are based in both New York and London, consider two websites aiming at the local clientele: AzamUK.com and AzamNY.com

Ended up buying azam.net from BuyDomains for $1700.00 and will use that instead of azam.biz. Good decision or not?
