.SI: What Would Prove Real Adoption?

Maybe this topic is a little late, but I still wanted to open a separate thread and see what others think.

.si is getting attention, but I do not think sales alone tell the full story yet.

For me, the more interesting part would be seeing more real websites using .si as the main domain. I would also want to see if people keep renewing them after the hype slows down. A ccTLD feels different once actual users start building on it.

What would you look for first with .si: more sales, more developed sites, or stronger renewals?

Yeah, let’s see how it plays out. Maybe once a serious AI product starts using .si as its main domain, the discussion will feel very different.

Not yet. I mostly see .si used by local Slovenia sites too.

Yes, and it is quite normal .. in Europe, Slovenia is a well-known country.

Apart from domain hacks - I don't see it to be used globally. Though, who knows The future will show us.
