Hi guys,

As some of you might already know, I'm from Singapore and I have been wondering and would appreciate your thoughts and comments on the following :-

Have you heard of Singapore ? Know where it is ? What's your perspection of Singapore ? Any local produce that you know of ?

Think Singapore and what's the first thing that comes to your mind ?

Basically, I'm trying to sooth my curiousity as what you guys think of Singapore etc ..

Singapore fried noodle is one of my favorite dishes. Do you really have that in Singapore?

Really ... "Singapore Fried Noodle" from your local Chinese Takeout ?

We DON'T have a dish by that name here but we eat lots of noodles ... eg.

Noodles with pork, chicken, fish etc ... could be stir-fried, sauteed and sometimes even made into a soup !

Sorry, it should be Singapore-style fried vermicelli or 星 州 炒 米 (in Chinese). Can you read it?

P.S. I copied the Chinese text from a search on Google. :D

Yeah ... I can read it ...
and YES, we have it here as well !!!!!!

Hi oneguy,

This is not a travel.info forum. What's your interest in domains, and what .info and .biz names do you have?

True but since its the MISC forum, I thought a little side-track wouldn't do much harm.

Interest in Domains? Well, I've just got started so I'm still very much a newbie and need all the guidance that I can get.

Looking very much at the following :
(a) Expired Yahoo Listed .Com's
(b) "SG" Prefix Domains
(c) Single Dictionary Word Domains for .Com / .Net / .Org

Mole - Understand that you're from Singapore as well. Would appreciate any advice or guidance...

Hi Roy,

1. Yahoo delisted domains are over-hyped and very short term in outlook. Yahoo is cleaning the kitchen, and they are aware of this.

2. .sg domains are dying. Most of the big advertisers in Singapore are ditching .sg like lava on open flesh and converting to the .com, eg. starhub.com.

3. Single dictionary words are contested by the largest players in the domain game, so unless you have the financial firepower and privileged connections, best thing to do is to niche down on things the generic lovers can't seem to see.

Thanks for the advice.

So, its back to the drawing boards again ... <SIGH>

Cheer up, the new .CN landrush in mid-March has potential. :D

plasticsurgery.cn is even better than sex.cn in this case *wink*

People knows Singapore as a strict country where you can't chew gum, can't litter, can't eat, can't walk freely.

I lived in Singapore for a few years. It's not that bad though. A small and peaceful country w/ Sentosa island. The thing that I miss is Cha Kuay Teaw, fried noodle with oyster. :) yum yum

hey oneguy, are there many chio bu there ?

If you're interested, I have chiobu.net for sale.

PM me

Hi .Biz,

Hi .com.net.org,
